Texas Bluebonnet Award

Each year in November, 20 books chosen from nominations by Texas librarians, teachers, parents, and students are placed on a list for students in grades 3-6 to read. Those students reading at least 5 of the 20 books can then vote in January on their favorite from the list. The winning book from votes across the state determine the Texas Bluebonnet Award winning book and author.
